🐝 Cycle Cities Buzz - The New Membership Is Here!!!

Hi Reader,

After a lot of work behind the scenes, we’re finally ready to share what’s next.

Cycle Cities is evolving: from a community into something more structured, more focused, and more directly linked to business growth.

And with that comes a new membership program.

From Community to Growth Platform

For years, Cycle Cities has been built on something very strong:

  • Trust
  • Open knowledge sharing
  • Real connections between operators

But one thing has been clear:

👉 There’s a lot of value in this network that isn’t being fully captured.

This new model is designed to change that.

  • More structure.
  • More clarity.
  • More focus on real outcomes.

Membership — Two Tiers

The new program is built around two levels of engagement:

Basic Access

Designed to keep you connected and informed

  • Access to the WhatsApp community
  • Member-only newsletter (Gold Nuggets)
  • Web listing (non-exclusive)
  • Access to webinars and curated knowledge
  • Visibility opportunities across channels

👉 Ideal if you want to stay plugged into the network

Pro Access

Designed for operators who want to grow

  • Everything in Basic
  • Exclusivity in your city (conditions apply)
  • Full access to structured knowledge and tools.
  • Featured visibility across Cycle Cities channels
  • 1 Symposium ticket included
  • Discounts on additional tickets (conditions apply)

👉 Built for operators looking to actively grow their business

Symposium — Opening Up

We’re also introducing a small but important change:

For the first time, Symposium will open a limited number of spots to selected external guests from the industry.

The goal is simple:
👉 Bring in fresh perspectives, new connections, and more opportunities for collaboration

This will be carefully controlled, keeping the core of the community intact while adding value.

Exclusivity — Evolving the Model

Exclusivity remains a key part of Cycle Cities, but it’s now more clearly defined.

  • It applies per city (not per brand)
  • It is linked to Pro membership
  • And it requires active participation

We’ve also updated the terms to better protect the value of the network and ensure fairness across members.

Take a few minutes to go through it — everything is clearly laid out.

What This Means for You

This is not just a pricing change.

It’s a shift in how the network works:

  • More direct bookings
  • Better margins
  • Stronger partnerships
  • Less dependency on OTAs

👉 The focus is clear: real business growth

What Happens Next

You can now:

  • Explore the new structure
  • Choose your membership tier

Early adopters will naturally get the most value as the platform takes shape.

Let’s Build This Together

This has been built with operators, for operators.

And it will only work if the right people are part of it.

We’re excited about what’s coming next, and even more about building it together with you.

See you soon,

Isabella

Hi Reader, A quick update before we dive into this week's insights. The new Cycle Cities website is now live and looking significantly cleaner, more professional, and much easier to navigate. Over the past weeks I've also been reviewing member profiles and, while doing so, I've noticed that some information is no longer up to date. In a few cases, social media usernames have changed, websites have been updated, or descriptions no longer reflect the current business. If you haven't, could you...

Hi Reader, As preparations for Symposium 2027 continue, I thought it would be fun to hear directly from the person making it all happen. For those who haven't met him yet, Lars from Hamburg City Cycles is our local host for next year's Symposium, and over the past months he's been helping us shape what promises to be a fantastic event. He recently shared some thoughts about Hamburg, the city, the cycling culture, and what members can expect next year. Quick Facts About Hamburg ~1.9 million...

Hi Reader, This week I'd like to start by welcoming our newest member, Denis from Bike Tirana (Albania), who has already jumped into the community and brought plenty of energy to the WhatsApp group. One of the things I enjoy most about Cycle Cities is seeing how quickly operators start helping each other. Within days of joining, Denis was already exchanging ideas with members, discussing direct bookings, Google Ads, bike fleets, and sharing some of the challenges he's currently facing as he...
